Studio Brief 04: Study Task 5.0

Final outcome
These two designs are my final outcome for the Majid Jordan album pre-order website.

Design for mobile
Considerations for the mobile design:
Font use: Optima (Available for HTML)
Font size: 12 pt

Clear example/presentation for developer (If this website was not fiction).
Stacking of elements shown in the desktop version, not just scaled, responsive design.

Design for desktop
Considerations for the desktop design:
Font use: Optima (Available for HTML)
Font size: 14 pt and 20 pt
Clear example/presentation for developer (If this website was not fiction).

Studio Brief 04: Study Task 4.0

Modile template design
The design has to be an easy readability website for desktop and smartphone. During my research I found out that the best outcome for this concept is an one-page website. The present website of Majid Jordan has got a minimalistic design and can be used by everyone. I decided to keep the same design in the new website for the new upcoming album.

Studio Brief 04: Study Task 3.0

I decided to start the wireframe sketches with the most used mobile display size for my website. To start with the mobile website it's easier to customize it too a desktop website. Than the other way around. Then you will not need to skip elements in the original design.

Studio Brief 04: Study Task 2.0

Concept
Releasing album: Majid Jordan - Something about you
Every week (on a random day of the week) their will be post a picture from social media of Majid Jordan performing on stage. The target audience have to guess where this performance location was. There will be shown 6 pictures in 6 weeks in total and at the end of this term their will be chosen a winner. The one who' got all pictures answered right wins two tickets for the concert of Majid Jordan where they will be releasing their new album. This will encourages the target audience of Majid Jordan to pre-order the new album and make a chance to win tickets for the concert.

With this concept the target audience will visit every week the promotion website to guess on which location was the performance and automatically they will visit the Instagram (social media) of Majid Jordan. People will talk about this concept and competition and the it will increase sales of the album and ensure chart of success.

Competition rules (short but sweet)
- You have to pre-order the album before you can participate this competition.
- Share the pre-order and post “something about you” on social media (Instagram,    Facebook and Twitter). With hashtag #somethingaboutyourelease.
- The fan must guess it in the right week when the picture will be post on the website (a week later you can’t guess anymore). So the fan gets one chance per picture to guess the location right.

These six pictures of performance from Majid Jordan on location will be post in the competition term before the releasing date of the album.

Studio Brief 04: Study Task 1.0

The day that I came home after the briefing from Only Studio I was listening too one of my favorite artist at the moment. And went on the internet to do research about them, their history and latest albums. I found out that they releasing a new album about a couple of weeks and already can pre-order the new album. On the website of this artist there is only an announcing to pre-order their album without any promotion or concept linked. Below here you'll see their website how it is at this moment. So this is a good opportunity for me to choose this artist with this studio brief.
